Factory Seconds Brass

Quick question for those who do a lot more loading and shooting than I do… Nosler has some good sales on brass marked as factory seconds and I’m curious if its worth buying a bunch. From my knowledge factory seconds is usually just minor cosmetic inconsistencies but can be physical in some cases depending on the severity. It sounds like its all brand new since their description of the brass makes it seem like its just unprepped brass but says nothing about imperfections.

“Nosler® Factory Seconds Brass was created for the high-volume hand loaders that want Nosler® quality brass but want to do the case prep work themselves. Manufactured from the same quality materials and to the same tolerances allowing for extended case life and dependable reloadability. Nosler® Brass provides you with the best raw brass for creating that perfect load time and time again.”

Good question. I haven’t bought any before. Is it just cosmetic, or is weight or volume slightly out of spec?

It looks like its brand new factory brass that is just unifinished. Looked at most of the casings and havent seen any dents or scratches so it looks good for now. Just need to resize and clean up and they should be fine.
