Is Federal coming out with their terminal ascent line of 7 prc? I was on Midway USA today and it has a picture of terminal ascent ammo and says “Coming Soon”. That was the first time I have heard about it or seen it. I am in a few Facebook groups about the 7 prc and haven’t heard anyone say anything about it there either.
Terminal Ascent bullets have been hard to find. I heard rumors that Nosler manufactures it for them and they are maxed out with their own stuff.
7 prc terminal ascent would be awesome.
A representative from Federal announced that they were making a TA bullet specifically for the 7 PRC and fast twisted 7’s in the 165-175 grain range. I can’t remember if that interview was on the Big Game Hunting Podcast or1 another. Barnes also stated they were going to be making 7 PRC cartridge loadings as well.
EDIT: I just checked and it was on the January 26th episode from this year around the 8:30 mark. They announced the 165 TA will be in the loaded 7 PRC ammo coming this year. There will also be a 210 TA in 300 PRC. The 165 TA will be offered as a component bullet as well once they catch up with orders.1

I saw the same for 300 prc. I hope so because they shoot amazing in my 308
