I’m putting in (from TX) for CO for the first time and came across a required field asking if I an “Firearm Certified”.
Does anyone know if this is covered under the general hunters ed or my concealed handgun license?

Try using your Hunter Ed credentials. I can’t remember exactly how it looks because my wife, son, and I all have our hunter education numbers stored at CPW office so it magically appears in our account when we apply. I just tried to apply for my 13-year old’s small game license and black bear application to see if I could get to a “Firearm Certified” page, but unfortunately didn’t see one. Sorry I can’t help you out other than recommending to try your hunter’s safety number.

That’s what I entered because they never asked specifically for my hunters Ed cert. It went through so that’s what it is unless it kicks back later.

This should be what is required. Another note on this topic is that when you are hunting in CO they require you carry your physical hunter education card the entire time.
