Form 4 to approved timeline

For those who have recently purchased a suppressor this year on a trust, how long was you wait from signing Form 4 to it all getting approved?

Minimum of 2 days, longest was about a week and a half

I got mine in December and it took less than a week for me I know it’s not this year but they aren’t too behind on form 4s so it shouldn’t take to long

Thanks. It’s been 24 days total and 7 since I signed my form 4 so I was wondering. Maybe tomorrow or Friday…

Mine took about a week from when the shop received the suppressor and I went in to fill out the form 4 until I was approved and was able to go pick it up.

I had one that was over 30 days. The gun shop told me to contact my US representative. I did that and had to provide some documentation. About 2 days after the congressman’s letter went out I got my tax stamp. I’m quite sure I’m on some naughty list with the ATF now

You must leave in a free state, as in WA, that would’ve sent red flags up!

Still no response from ATF on my approval after submitted Form 4, so I looked up the time between my last Form 4 submission and approval (2025). It was just 2 days. Same scenarios, same Trust, different suppressor manufacturer.

Anyway, the funny bit that caught my eye was that I submitted the both Form 4s on the exact same day, April 8, one year apart. Any chance this raised a red flag?

Mine was 22 days through Silencer Central with a trust. This was during the month of March this year.

Last 2 Trust where 23 days and 29 days one was Nov 25 and Feb 26
