Got my backstop recoil pad in this week for my fierce rival. My first one went on a Tikka swimmingly well.
So just like with the tika I grabbed my handy Philips head screwdriver and started to try to work on getting the Old Pad off. Could not get any bite. Tried different sizes. Tried a few Allen keys without luck. Even tried a flathead screwdriver a couple of times without luck.
Put on my headlamp, got my large flashlight out could not see inside the channel at all. So I said what the heck, let’s see what I can see with the borescope.
Turned out I was not using the right size Allen keys by a long shot.
It’s on now!
