The 7PRC is proving to be far more challenging. I have already tried multiple loads. I know that my gun shoots .75-.8 groups with Factory Federal 175 Eldx and pushed 2950. I’m now getting anywhere from .8 to 2" groups (since moving to 20 shot tests).
I know the Eldx is not supposed to be jump sensitive and I have had zero trouble loading even with the over spec COAL. Should I try reducing the COAL and lowering the powder a grain? Any thoughts?
Finally finished getting all my first pass of Hornady 7 PRC shot today. Junk Amazon bipod, old worn out Cabela’s rear bag on a less than ideal shooting bench in 100 degree temps and shot a 3/4” 10 shot group. Now the fun begins.
