Ik this is a more precision rifle knowledge group but… has anyone dealt with a Frt trigger issue where it works on semi but has trouble resetting after the first shot? It’s a AR pistol the 5.56 upper has the issue but my 300blk upper works fine… and yes it has m16 carrier

Have you tried different ammo in it, could be that your undegassed or the ammo your using isn’t hot enough to engage the force reset also is it a rare breeds frt. Anothwr issue might be spring force it’s too heavy of a spring or your bag doesn’t have an enough mass for the initial cycle. It could also be a combination of all these issues
If you don’t have adjustable gas Block that is must for Frt s these things are finicky and in my opinion they are just for fun and don’t but them on anything you want to depend on

Sometimes you need a heavier spring to slow the gun down. Many times they are just moving to fast.
I did bought a h2 and it wouldn’t cycle semi. It was too heavy. Idk what else to do not too impressed with it so far. It’ll cycle the next bullet but won’t reset the trigger on fun switch.

Update I got it to work the buffer I bought wasn’t actually a h2 so I looked into my other ar and it’s a h2 it runs like a champ!
