Jim, is the FX True Ballistic Radar worth the extra money over the LabRadar? Time a person spends the money on all the extras for a Lab you’re getting close to the FX just looking for your thoughts

It’s worth it. I’ve easily wasted the price difference in ammo that the LabRadar didn’t pick up velocities for.
My video review of it will be coming out potentially today. I’ll be selling the LabRadar.

How does it work out at a public range with multiple bullets going downrange. With the external trigger on a LabRadar it usually doesn’t take a reading unless it senses recoil. If it does record an extraneous shot, it is noted immediately and can be deleted at any time. If your phone “goes to sleep” does it lose its Bluetooth connection or will it wake the phone to record a shot? (This is an ongoing issue with my LabRadar which renders the phone connection useless to control the LabRadar).
That’s a good question. Haven’t tested it at a public range like that.
Did you do a review of the FX chronograph? I can’t find if you did.
I sold my LabRadar as well and just got my FX this week. The testing will start this weekend.

I gave it a little review at the end of the video a few weeks ago. Something like “one mile per second with a 300 win mag”
Overall I really like it. I have had the screen glitch out on me a couple times since that recording but it’s been much more reliable than LabRadar for me.
