3.94 per gallon at my Costco here in Ft Worth. Worst I’ve ever seen here. I know it’s worse elsewhere, but man this is staring to hurt. $136 to fill up today

$6.80 - $7.00 a gal for diesel in Wa state. Cant escape soon enough.
Currently in Choteau MT shooting gophers… $5.63… were trying to get our gopher cost down to $5 a gopher

I paid 5.30 in Nevada for diesel, and 7.30 in Ca to make it back home, all in all was $300 total for that trip. /it is largely due to taxes upon taxes and price gouging.
Them prices sound great. It was $3.50 aud per liter a couple weeks ago which is $9.54 usd per gallon.
Albo decided he’d cut half the fuel excise, city people called him a hero, and the fuel companies swallowed that up within a couple days letting them make even more profit.
Prices have gone down to $2.50 aud but they are going back up again.

Unfortunately this is only going to get worse from here. At this point it’s basically impossible to go back to pre-Iran war prices. Even when the conflict ends, this doesn’t get better. New multi-polar world order is being established and will be worked out over the next decade or so, could include additional wars or conflicts, both physical and digital/financial. Plus, we are likely on the “downslope” of the carbon pulse—that one-time burst of energy gluttony enabled by the world’s oldest solar battery, which we drained at a rate millions of times faster than it was built. What we are seeing now is just the beginning of rising energy prices. Will hit electricity too, especially as all the new AI data centers come online across the heartland. The AI btw is not being built for benefit of you and I, its purpose is mass surveillance and censorship. They can’t make enough money on this to recover investments without… you guessed it, government contracts. And what will they use this tech for? Gee, real head scratcher that one. Buckle up folks, the future is a Brave New World.

It sucks that most of the valley gets its gasoline from California refineries. I believe it’s cheaper down in Tucson bc they get gas mostly from Texas and NM. I used to live up in Benicia, CA where the Valero refinery closed this year. Such a shame California has become such a cesspool. Maybe this Mr. Pratt will win in LA and restore a modicum of sanity.
