Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife just posted no target shooting in eastern Washington this summer. Only 2 ranges open in eastern Washington through August (if we are lucky) Due to the lack of winter they are cracking down on wildfires. Sounds like lots of wounded elk coming this fall

I feel your pain! I have a kid that has 4 more years until she graduates! And I’m outta WA! WA may get weaker with people leaving but then again the other states we’re moving too will be stronger.

Im out in a couple months retired end of this month. North Idaho here i come.

Yessir! We are looking into eastern Tennessee! My wife and I have our first baby on the way, So who knows when we will actually move

Eastern Tennessee is close to me, (western NC). Walk out your back door and
set up a target here, but it is changing some. A lot of people moving in to the area.

Made the move from CA to Texas in 2011, before the land rush here. Word to the wise, all the places were conservatives from those Western states go, like TX, will think you’re a liberal. It takes a while to get past their defenses, but going on a hunt usually did it for me :), and letting my wife talk politics. She is way more conservative than I am lol.

Yeah I went to Tennessee for a week a couple years back. Talked to some people at a church there and I could tell they had thoughts about me
very kind people tho. They came through when I brought up my hunting and firearm experience
IF I can afford it, as I do all my hunting over there, it’s a quick enough drive from Spokane and have gotten to know a lot people in the small town of Choteau. Where the current state record typical mule deer resides from
