In a few weeks my new barrel for me 30-06 should be ready. I need to buy some go nogo gauges. Does anyone have a brand that they use and would recommend, or warn me off of?
Pacific Tool & Gauge (PTG) or Forster are the default go-to’s. ![]()
yep on what Pete recommended
Perfect - I had both of those looked up on Midway.
Thanks
Glad I could help. ![]()
Might look on Amazon. That is where I got my Forster Go NoGo.
Forster gauges worked well for me in my barrel swap. Those are the only gauges I have used or handled so I can only speak to my situation.
Never heard of Go NoGo gauges. I don’t see them in the Backfire reloading course. Guess, I have some research to do if some of you say these are important for reloading.
Used for rebarrelling a rifle. Gets the headspace of the barrel set correctly.
You need them on a rebarrel on a bolt action.
I bought a cheap set on ebay and they worked for me.
I would go forester. Only experience i have with either is my brother used to work at pt& g in Oregon.
Alot of drugs are legal in Oregon and alot of people use them ( not my brother) alot of people use them at work.
