Got out to the range today to shoot some more with my 6.5CM. Took Sig Marksman 130gr and Norma Bondstrike 143gr. Both shot sub MOA when I didn’t mess up on my trigger squeeze (new trigger on the gun). While this will be a range gun, it will see some white tail hunting. Of these 2, has anyone had experience with how they perform on game?
Sig was about .6. Norma was about .7
The Norma bondstrike has a great following as a hunting bullet, as that’s what I’m going to be using in my 7prc. Plus Norma brass is supposed to be some of the better relatable brass out there. I like to play on this sight to compare ammo. (Side question are you happy with the Athlon Scope you got for that gun?)
Haven’t shot either on game but I like Bondstrike in ballistics gel
Anybody know the minimum impact velocity of the bond strike? I did a Google search over the weekend and the AI response said that it needed to be 2200 ft per second which seems awfully high for a bonded bullet
