My granddaughter went on her first deer hunt. Did I mention she’s four years old? She had her Red Ryder BB gun and was going to shoot a deer and hog. They did see 3 doe and watched them but no bucks. Still, she was super excited.
To keep it going my daughter shot a little buck yesterday. Dropped it with a high shoulder shot with the Tikka I had to spend time on the stock.
I have yet to see anything I would consider “worth” shooting. Still lots of time left. Great to pass on the traditions. My son remember having hot chocolate when huntinig so the thermos went along…
