I am considering finishing my gun room and curious if you guys have any ideas or equipment you really like. I need room for guns, ammo, hunting gear, etc.
I have used the SecureIt panels for my guns, but I am open to other options.

Here’s mine. I used hold up displays. more shelving would be nice (will be adding), and room for ammo. fortunately, I have a basement, so all of my other hunting gear is in another closet.
I like how you have the rifles curved at an angle on the right Johnny. I may do that.
Not nearly as extensive but keeps the big guns out oft the safe where I can look at them when I walk in the room. The bench is from Harbor Freight and is exceptionally well made.
When I built my gun room I liked Jims wall so much I emailed him and he told me hold up displays. That’s what I used and am really happy with it

Is custom cabinetry outside the budget? As a custom home builder in North Texas that has done over two dozen “gun rooms,” the cabinets always land the best! Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with a modern tactical look and function like SecureIt. You’re on the right track!
That’s right. I think 150. I decided to build my own bench instead of buying another. I think I’m going to come out behind after boards and hardware. Should have bought another HF one.
I had a custom cabinet shop as a side line business since the middle 80’s and for that kind of money I couldn’t begin to build one that would compare. There was a time I spilled more good whisky in honky tonks on a Friday night than that HF bench costs.
Totally get it. Anyway, life is more about the moments shared with others than the things in those moments! Good Luck!
