Happy father’s day

I wish a happy father’s day to all men who chose to stick to their responsibilities as father.
Unfortunately, it sometime feels like our society dismiss our role and value in this world. All I can say is “Stay the course and keep courage”.
May God bless you all.

Happy Father’s Day!

My wife and I went for a little parent-cation last week and it gave me some time to really analyze what I need to be to successful as a father in the remaining years I have with my kids. They need us, and I hope I’m up to the task.

Happy Father’s Day !!

In such trying times, our role as teachers, mentors, supporters and role models are even more important. I agree that you need to make this a priority otherwise you will look back and the time will have slipped away. So maintain your family and especially your kids as your focus.

May God grant you all many, many more!

Happy fathers day! We had a great day! My four kids and I gathered up all the rifles and had a blast shooting on the farm. Hope you had a good day!

Remaining years - this may come as a surprise but those set by your age not theirs. I worry more about my kids as adults than when they were young. Young kids I had some control over - them as adults not so much and sometimes this is harder. So being a father or a parent only ends when you do. Both good and bad.

I know exactly how you feel. Our children are grown up and seem to have taken a different path than we would have liked. Our eldest son lives in Germany with his wife, and they seem to have a very liberal view of what it means to be a Christia. Our daughter, who lives in Calgary with her husband, and our two grandchildren are firm believers and very involved in their local church. How 30+ years old still lives at home and wants little to do with our politics or Christianity.
Since they left home, we have a foster daughter (16) and an adopted daughter (15), they are both mid-teens and are quite involved in their local youth group at church. They both have been with us since only a few months old, so they are still “under our control” when it comes to attending church.
All we can do is provide them the opportunity to be involved in the faith, and give them access as much as possible.
