I have a 6.5PRC built off the Tikka T3X action. I do not want to lose the buttery smoothness of the action. But I also do not like the color of the bolt/action. If I were to DLC the bolt and Cerakote the Action. Would that mess with the buttery smoothness at all? Or would I need to DLC both the bolt and the action? I am supposed to take my rifle to the Gunsmith today. Any help ASAP would be really appreciated. Thank you so much guys.
Send it in to unknown munitions and have them flute the bolt and nitride coat it then it will be even smother than it is now.
