There are lots of diagrams as well as video on the www showing where to aim on deer to hit the heart-lung area from various horizontal & vertical angles. Given Jim’s video “High-shoulder vs Lung shot: Where to Shoot a Deer with a rifle,” I’d be curious to see similar diagrams or video of where to aim from different angles other than broadside for that high-shoulder shot.
Do you just aim for that same spot on the shoulder no matter the angle (because impact destroys the nerve bundle), or is aim point angle dependent? Does the angle of bullet travel matter on this shot?
