For those that have this chassis, is the folding stock worth an extra $200? For context, this rifle will be used for South East and Midwest deer hunting out of a blind stand. My backpacking days for elk are behind me.

To your question, I think that’s one of its 2 main selling points. 1) weight 2) folding stock. Personally, I don’t think I’d buy it to use in a blind. But then again, life is too short. If you like it, buy it and enjoy it.
I love the folding stock for backpacking, but if you won’t use it that way, then I’d just save the $200.
I have the folding and I love it. Worthitto me. I gotmine without the arca rail ans added a metal arca rail as i didnt want to tear up the carbon fiber. Like pretty things. LOL
