How much is too much shoulder bump to be salvaged?

So I’m reloading for 6.5CM and had a few hundred rounds of Prime brass (older iteration which I believe was Norma brass though stamped prime). I’ve also got some hornady brass as well. In my initial take at reloading, I managed to over bump the shoulder of about 50+ cases by .006 - 008" (after their 1st firing).

Is it reasonable to attempt using this brass still?

If so, should I plan to scrap any data from the next firing just to get it re-formed?

I wouldn’t worry too much. 0.006” shoulder bump is more than ideal for brass life but honestly you’ll probably be fine on accuracy.

Good to hear! Definitely didn’t want to have to retire that much brass
