When I was 16 years old, I put on a bucket list of 50 things to do in life “Kill a caribou”. I finally crossed it off this week.
Even cooler, I got to take the Backlight chassis to use on the hunt, which was just awesome.
I spent 10 days out last year and didn’t get one. This year, it was the afternoon of day 9 when I finally got my chance.
Sooo glad to be back to civilization. It was frigid cold. Spent two days locked in the tent because of heavy rain. Filtering water from a mud puddle. But I finally got the chance!
