I just thought to check with the group. Is it possible to obtain two state residency for FFL transfer purposes? Or you can have only one?
(CA has made it too expensive to buy a firearm here. With the institution of a new 11% excise tax on top of an already high sales tax of ~8%+).

Nope. Can only be a resident of one state.

And that covers lots of stuff like car reg, hunting licenses, medical insurance, and more than just guns.

I am curious about people who have multiple residences in mulyiple states. I assume, even under such circumstances, you can only have one “legal” state residency where your DL and firearm purchases can be from. Thanks. (I need to cut my CA umbilical cord.)
