Is the Athlon Rangecraft accurate?

Question for everyone who has the Rangecraft: Do you find the FPS is accurate, espeically if you either:

1 - already knew your FPS for a rifle/ammo or

2 - Have the Garmin or other to compare it to

The reason I am asking is that I now have the Rangecraft and have found that all 3 rifles I tested have shot significantly faster than what I expected, but I haven’t bee able to verify yet at the long range range (wish there was a better way to describe that).

My Average on my 7PRC in 2975 on a 22’’ barrel

30-06 is 3047 on a 24” barrel

45-70 is 1950 on a 16” barrel

Anyone see similarly fast results? Is my chrono off or am I very lucky with these speeds?

I’ve tested it side by side with the Garmin and they’re always within a few fps of each other. Usually only 2-3fps different. I have no way of really knowing which one is right but they’re very consistent.
