Is there a powder charge difference in 24" to 26" barrel 300 WIN MAG

I have Hogdon’s data for 300 WM H4350 for 200 grain ELD-X, Max 66 grains H4350. The Data is for a 24" barrel. I have the Browning X-Bolt Max LR and it is 1:8 twist and 26" barrel. Since the barrel is 2" longer, is the powder charge still the same or +/-? Thanks for the help. I can’t find any answer to it on the web. I joined BACKFIRE cause I figure he knows his stuff, and I am more than just a dumb ol country boy. I’ve been reloading 32 S&W Long to 30-06, 8mm Mauser for a while and never had this issue before. Thanks folks.

I personally don’t adjust the powder charge because of my barrel being longer than what the reference barrel was in the book. You’ll likely get another 30 or 40 fps. Bonus :grinning:

That’s what I thought. So thank you for confirming what I was figuring.
