Jim what do you think about this optic?

I have several AR’s that I am needing a scope for (308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel) what do you think about the Element Optics Helix 2-16x50 HDLR SFP with the APRC-1 MRAD reticle?

I haven’t tried that one specifically, but I like Element Optics in general. Have liked every scope I’ve tried from them.

Hey Jim, I’m a new guy to the backfire community. I am a local hunter/shooter to where you live and have a scope on my 300 win mag that is a cds system from Leopold. If you find yourself available to shoot sometime so I can try some different ammo through your chronograph it would greatly help my accuracy when making new turret caps. Thanks

I bought the Element Optics Helix 2-16x50 HD (not quite the one you are looking at, but still the Helix line…only the plus sign at the center of the reticle lights up). The sad news is that scope is on the gun my 11-year old shoots and will be his 8-year old sisters gun permanently (it’s a Weatherby Camilla 7mm-08 so it is designed for a woman shooter). I tried to talk my kids into taking the Leupold VX-3 off my gun (Weatherby Vanguard 7mm-08) and trade me their Helix. They won’t trade and if I could go back in time 2 years, we’d own two Helix and zero Leupolds.
