Posted a couple weeks ago about my 9yo getting his first deer and well… he’s done it again and was able to fill one of our turkey tags. A perfect Tom just in time for the holidays.
He called his favorite cousin and said “well I guess you could call me a serial killer now.”
He is having the time of his life finally getting to be part of the family tradition. We’ve got an elk tag and a bear tag to fill, hopefully he finds his next target.

Wish we had a fall turkey season here. All we have is spring. Nice to have something to do in the spring but this seems like this would be the typical time of year to kill a turkey.
I did not grow up turkey hunting, only birds we hunted were pheasants and quail. We just started a couple years ago and I agree it makes sense to me to offer it in the fall given we all eat turkey for the holiday. He was pumped and happy to have something else to hunt.
