Kind of shocked about gun weights

I was told not to go AR-10. But I did it anyway. I am actually shocked that it weighs less than my Sig Cross.

Dang. Thats a pretty light AR10. Mine is about 10 pounds bare rifle.

My Seekins Precision SP10 in .308 weighs 14.5 lbs., without magazine.
With a full 20 rd magazine it is right at 16 lbs. Could be why I shoot it from a tripod.
