Hey everyone I just treated myself to a ‘forever scope’ and before I could even get it sighted in I’ve had issues. I can only get one revolution out of the elevation turret and I should be able to get 3. Anyways it looks like someone in the shop has banged the zero lock button in and bent the raceway that it runs in. Thought you guys might be interested to see. Hopefully the dealer isn’t painful about it, as I’ve had the scope for a month and a half waiting for paperwork on my rifle to go through.
Man that sucks. All the scopes I have say to be careful to just hand tighten those screws for that very reason.

Leupold is pretty quick on returns etc.. with no cost out of pocket too so you should have piece of mind.. but the inconvenience is a pain!

Just go straight through Leupold. They have a lifetime warranty and they answer the phone when you call.

Month and a half for what paper work?
I’m Australian so all category B firearms (center fires) need written justification of why you need it. Plus you have to give all the details so it can be registered. Then the cops take a month and a half to even look at it before deciding if you can have the firearm or not. Then after picking up the rifle you still have to go to the police station to register it.
