Had the evening to hunt and…
First year hunting Mule deer, first time seeing a buck in daylight after miles and miles of walking I was able to seal the deal 376 yards through both shoulders. Bang Flop! Crazy thing is I spotted him at about 1000 yards and snuck up to where I shot him but the kicker is when I got to the point where I shot him he was gone! After close to 30 mins of drying my eyes out glassing I said a little prayer “lord please show him to me one more time and I’ll drop him” no kidding as I finished saying that I pulled up my binos and BOOM walking out of the tree line again was him!!
Not a hog but will feed the family.

Let me get this right… you shot him twice? Which shot was the 376 yard shot?

22 creedmoor 88 grain ELDX? Was that hand loaded as I have not seem the 88 grain for sale in a factory offering. I have the 80 grain ELDX and that’s the common load available.

Download to computer if you haven’t already. Open the pictures up in paint and you can resize the picture smaller and you should be able to upload. Nice job by the way, I’m you got him.
