Anyone here have the new Leupold BX-4 range finding binoculars? If so what’s your thoughts on them?
Sorry I don’t personally but for optics like binoculars or spotting scopes, I find that birding reviews tend to be the most credible as that community tends to be far more discerning about the optics than the general hunting community that tends to prioritize price first. I’d start looking there or go to a store that has a set to compare to the peers of the optics you have in mind. Most hunting store are poorly lit but have quite a few taxidermy animals to utilize as targets to get something of a feel for the performance.
Obviously this isn’t optimal for seeing dawn/dusk performance but the only way to find that out is to buy a set and try for yourself. In those cases maybe check the return policy or find a used set that you can sell at little to no loss.
I don’t have them but I’d like to try it. Love the range finding capability in my vortex fury, but glass quality isn’t there.
