What lubricant do you all recommend for threading on and off a silencer without damaging the threads? Ideally, it’s something that helps keep the silencer in position, too.
I use vibratite. Leaves some mess so it’s not good if you want to move a suppressor between guns frequently but I mostly just want to make sure it doesn’t come loose and mess up my shot.
I posted this maybe a year ago. Sometimes it is difficult to remove a suppressor. I believe this is a Kobolt Oil Filter wrench. The loop is rubber so it doesn’t mar anything, but I find it makes it very easy to break the suppressor loose.

With the vibratite, you can take the suppressor on and off for cleaning still?
Yes but it’s not as easy.
