I don’t know if I was just due for some luck but this thing will SHOOT!!!
First 3 shot group was .25. Made a couple adjustments to zero then my 5 shot group was .37!!! It doesn’t get much better than that with a setup under 9 pounds.
I’ve got my dope to 600 and ready for New Mexico!!!
Thats an awesome group. Glad you got a good one. They do make good rifles, their tolerances have just gotten too loose; but seems like a lot of manufacturers have. Enjoy it!!

How do you like the MDT Field Stock? I’ve been thinking about getting one for a Weatherby rifle I have in 300 Win Mag.
If I had it to do again I’d have gone for the XRS. The bottom of the butt stock is a bit too thin for my liking. I ordered a much more rigid and deeper rear bag to accommodate.
I’d also like more slots under the front. It only allows for a 2” pic and 2” arca rail.
On a positive note, it’s a solid stock and runs great with my R700 clone rifle. The carbon bolt handle and Timny trigger fit seamlessly.
For the dollar, you can’t beat it!
