Listening to a podcast with seekins precision Marty Nelson on the Big game hunting podcast. He says that there are more of these high pressure cartridges that will be coming out in the next few years. A 6.5 bc 300 bc and such. This is exciting that the improvements in what this will look like. Yes the standard cartridges are still good but this coming technology is exciting for me

Did Seekins say when they were going to be releasing theirs? I know there are a lot of people on other forums who ordered either a 277 or a 7 Backcountry back in January / February and are still waiting
Yeah, there are more to come but I’d like to see ONE successful high pressure cartridge before we proliferate.
277 sig fury has become vaporware. No ammo available to those who bought the guns.
7 backcountry is fading according to the retailers and manufacturers I’m talking to.
Well hopefully the next company that comes out with one will look at what federal did and do the exact opposite.
No proprietary, patented designs. Let everyone know what it is that other manufacturers get on board before you actually release it. Have rifles ready to go before you release it. Have the reloading questions answered before you release it. By the way I just saw yesterday that they are starting to release seven Backcountry reloading dies now.
Take more of pages from Hornady marketing rather than Federal marketing
After seeing some reviews of lately and watching this guy… I think there’s still some bugs to work out… I don’t this this gun would pass Jim’s bolt cycle test.
Yeah, I’ve seen those. I also saw one from him earlier this week where he said Savage contacted him and said they cannot find any trouble at all with the second rifle. It passes all of their testing and is in perfect spec. They are questioning whether it could be an issue regarding Federal ammo.

I wonder if this is effecting their ability to get ammo on shelves. Their 7PRC eldx is nowhere to be found.

Funny you should say that because it 109 this morning I got an ammo seek alert about some being available. Of course I didn’t see it because I was asleep and at 8:00 this morning it had completely sold out
