There are drop times and then there’s this.
I have two 6.5prc rifles.
- CVA Cascade XT 24” barrel im shooting 156g berger eol and 150g nosler ABLR. Long range open country
- Tikka t3x superlite 22.4” barrel shooting 127g LRX. Brush, timber gun
Hi Al, I bought a T3x Lite in 6.5 PRC and waiting on Jim’s chassis to put everything together. I have not started load development yet. I was planning on using the Hornady 143 ELD-X on top of Hornady brass as those shoot well in my 6.5 CM. I am open to other options as I plan to use this build as a hunting rifle for whitetail, mule deer or elk. Other rifles I have like the .30 & .338 caliber Nossler ABLR line of bullets. In your opinion what would be a good starting point for that 150g ABLR?
55.3 to 55.7 N565 powder. I use Peterson brass and Br2 primers. .05 off the lands to start.
Thanks, .05 is a ways off the lands from where I have normally ended up but will start there and see where it takes me.
