I have a Remington 7mm mag. I am considering getting the barrel threaded at Silencer Central. Once it’s threaded, I want to add a muzzle brake as I wait for my suppressor. What muzzle breaks do y’all have and recommend?
I use the Area 419 Hellfire Match system for muzzle brakes. There’s also the Sidewinder option too. They aren’t interchangeable but they are one of the systems that also have suppressor use in mind too.
Not to sound preachy or act like anyone is a child but I have bad tinnitus and 75% down on anything above 6KHz among other loss of hearing in left ear with a 8mm Mag muzzle break being the worst offender. Of course other rifles have contributed to it but nothing like a muzzle break. Of course I now wear electronic muffs or earplugs or both. Hunting is not always comfortable for those due to sweat and need to hear (I have hearing aids now) Everyone is different but I have no issue with 300 wm or 7mm PRC recoil in my rifles when hunting. I take other recoil reduction methods when shooting from the bench. I too am waiting for my Banish 30.
