Has anyone bought the new cross yet? Just curious how they are. Of course once I give up waiting on a long action cross and buy a fierce mtn reaper they come out with one.
I think you made a good choice on the Reaper.
This gun looks awesome but it’s really heavy so more of a tactical gun and not hunting.
How do you like the Reaper? How does it shoot? I’ve been on the fence on buying a reaper or build a gun.
I haven’t used it for hunting yet shot it for the first time yesterday really like it. Shot enough to break the barrel in but probably won’t shoot too much more until I get the new scope in the spring, just have a scope from one of my other rifles on it currently. If you’re looking for a really lightweight rifle and really compact when folded I would def check out the Mountain Reaper. I have it in 7prc with 20” barrel got it with shorter barrel since I’ll be putting one of my banish suppressors on it. @backfire can maybe give his take on it as well. When will we see a review on the mountain reaper Jim?
I love the mountain Reaper. It’s probably my favorite hunting rifle. Fierce can be hit or miss with qc issues, but when you get a good one, it’s a great one. I’m getting reliable 0.6” groups.
What scope did you put on yours Jim?
I put on a primary arms scope. Can’t remember the model off hand but it’s the one from the “best scopes under $1000” video. Great glass, great turrets, and light weight.
