New reloader

Hey, I am finally biting the bullet and I’m going to start reloading. I need some resources, websites, for reloading supplies; good places to buy powder, primers and brass for a good price. Open to sites that require memberships and offer discounts (like target sports USA)

Thanks

I really like MidSouth Shooters Supply and Graf’s. They have been the easiest and most affordable for shipping to Alaska.

+1 on Midsouth and Graffs. Also like Powder Valley and even Midway USA .

Ammoseek.com has a reloading section so you can look up prices and compare.

Get on the email list for as many companies as you can because the big thing that will get you are shipping and Hazmat fees especially for powders and primers. It’s pretty common for these companies to offer free Hazmat or free shipping for a weekend or a week, which can save you some serious dollars

Ammo seek is what I used. Prices vary across all these guys day to day and it’s been the easiest way for me to get specific components. Should be some good prices on the equipment for Black Friday.

+1 on MidSouth and Powder Valley. I haven’t used Graf’s. I also used Midway. I’m finding powder and primers are starting to come back in-store, especially primers. I found Ramshot Hunter at a local Sportsmans Warehouse recently.

shootingbot.com is pretty handy to doing a quick check of prices across many different sites

I 2nd using shootingbot.com that’s the way I find most everything. Also keep your eyes open for sites that are doing free hazmat shipping promotions.

I use a lot of short action custom’s stuff. They are worth the extra cost if you have an obsessive personality. If you get nothing else from them, get their modular headspace and bullet comparator. Use that same set for all your measurement notes from the start. You will get different results if you switch around brands.

Handloading has become one of my favorite hobbies.
