If you don’t already know from the title, I want to know what the best entry level bow is.
Now, you’re going to say that they’re subjective, etc and you can’t tell.me the best one for me. I know.
What I want to know is this: assuming my accessories are all under $150 total, what can I get for about $900? So the bow would have to be under $750. Lower is better.
I want to hunt, I want to get a bow that will be able to grow with me (I’m an adult, but I mean it is able to have more accessories, and more draw weight as I progress). I absolutely DO NOT want to buy a bow that is going to be useless the next year because I can’t fit any new accessories, or something else.
I would like to get it from bass pro, since it’s the nearest place, but if I need to, I can find it somewhere else.
I haven’t been serious in archery for a few years so hopefully someone else will have a better answer for the best bow.
However, I would say to go cheap on the bow and plan to spend more for accessories. I’d much rather have a cheap bow with good arrows, a nice release, and especially a good sight, than having a premium bow with cheap accessories.
I’d go to Sportsman’s or Cabelas and check out a PSE or a Bear. They are good entry bows.
Thanks! I’ll definitely go in and talk to the guys there.
I would also enjoy bow fishing, so it might even be better to get something cheap and then a bowfishing rig for it…
Really depends on what they say. If the cheaper kits work, then it might be ok; if not then I’m way more interested in hunting than in fishing.
