I created a tool for you all so you can type in the group sizes you’re getting from two different loads, and it will tell you if your test is statistically valid.
I used this excel sheet in a recent video and it popped out a perfect example of why this analysis is important. In the photo above, look at the group sizes for Load A and Load B. I would have said Load B was clearly better, but actually there was a 40% chance my test was bogus.

If anyone has ideas on how I could make this little tool better over time, I’d welcome the ideas. It’s a pretty simple little excel sheet, but I can see how it could save me from making poor decisions without actually running a good statistical analysis.
