New Woox Supperleggera stock

Looking at one of Jim’s videos where he introduced us to the new Superleggera stock, I just ordered one for an old Remington 700 BDL in 270 Win. I think I bought rifle in 1997 looking at serial number. It had become a safe queen in recent years so thought instead of adding another rifle, I’d dress up an old one a little. My wife sends her regards. The 700 was always a good rifle. Not sure why I put it away. I drifted off into 6.5 CM, 6.5 PRC, 7 PRC and 270 Weatherby and just kinda forgot about the 700.
My question is (finally, huh?), what else would you guys recommend I do as an “upgrade”? I was thinking of a Trigger Tech trigger for the 700, any other recommendations?
As a side note, when I ordered from Woox, they had a box for entering a discount code, not knowing I typed in “Backfire” and immediately got a 10% discount. My wife sends her regards.

Hey Mike! Great idea of your wife to upgrade an older one :grinning:

More upgrade ideas?

Suppressor (approval times are super fast right now)
Thread barrel
Barrel fluting
Cerakote
Bipod
Scope
Eventually a Backstop pad when we have one for that chassis.

I’m sure my wife meant to approve upgrading an older gun, not her husband. Hmmmm? Not sure now.

Bipod and scope were part of the plan. Hadn’t considered suppressor, barrel thread, Cerekote, or fluting but that sounds like good stage 2.

On another note, I got my Backstop pad about 30 days ago for the Fierce Rogue in 7 PRC. Two minute install and looks great. Have had weather delay so can’t tell you how big a difference it will make, but judging by quality of build I’m sure it’ll be great.

This post makes me think of the first rifle I bought in my teenage years. I have an old wood stock Savage 110 in 7mm REM Mag. I have often thought about giving it a facelift due to its meaning in my life. Perhaps, this thread has given me the assurance to go ahead and do that.

Just to update my original post; I had to cancel my Superleggera stock today as they kept slipping delivery. Last update (that I had to request) was something after 1 August. After 4 months and at least four different dates I give up.
Disappointed, but irritated even more. I feel like they lied to me on numerous occasions. I’ll do something different.

That’s good info. I like to know when customers have bad experiences with companies so I’ll know to tell people what to expect.
