Nosler 175gr Accubond LR 7 PRC

Hey all- I received Seekins PH3 7prc 22in last week.

I was wondering if anyone has used the nosler 175gr Accubond LR factory ammo before?

So far My rifle shoots pretty dang good with factory hornady/federal Eldx. I’m almost leaning towards using a bonded bullet for more penetration for my upcoming elk hunts this fall. Lmk if anyone has had any success using the ABLR in 7prc

Thanks,

I haven’t tried it yet but would love to see how it groups for you:

Not what you asked, but the Barnes LRX load is just shy of 3,000 fps and shoots 1/4 moa out of my Proof barrel. It shot othe factory ammo at around an inch- little crow gun works has stated that the Barnes factory load is 66 grains or RL26.

Have to second what Jack said above.

My 22 inch Element (older version, same barrel that the PH3 now uses) loves that Barnes load. And it is definitely a deep penetrating load.

I tried the 175ABLR in a 28Nos and never could get it to shoot well. Ended up with the 160 ish version of that bullet.

I ended up shooting a box of the 175gr Accubonds LR, and federal terminal ascent. Both did not group well for me. Federal ELDX shot lights out for me so I’ll most likely role with that for the foreseeable future.

I have a 7PRC with 18 inch barrel and 175 ABLR were not outstanding in my handloads. Trying to recall but maybe 1 MOA on a good day.

Shockingly this was the worst grouping ammo out of my fierce reaper. I have had a lot of luck with Norma Bondstrikes, out of pretty much every rifle I own.
