Optics - Arken & DNT

Hi All,

I’ve never heard of Arken or DNT before, but I’ve seen many reviews lately about the EP-5 7-35X56 Gen 2 and TheOne 7-35X56 FFP.

The link below shows a guy who does a review and compares it with an S&B PMII and says it matches essentially in terms of optical clearness. I’ve read other reviews and people say the DNT “The One” scope is even better than the Arken. What’s so interesting is that these are $700 to $1000 scopes. I find It hard to believe tbh.

Lots of forums are talking about these scopes it seems, so I would love to hear everyone’s opinion on these two companies and how good these scopes truly are!?

I own the Dtn The One mounted on a new BMR X Steel. It is shooting circles around my much more expensive B14 Carbon and feeds much better. I Love the Scope and has great glass for the money

The inside baseball on this one is that they are the same scope. Someone said DNT bought a portion of the plant where they are made. Arken hates DNT. Arken even threatened influencers that if they promote DNT, Arken would cut them off. I’m really starting to hate Arken over their marketing by practices.

Interesting…

So with the DNT, the one, how is the low light performance? Zooming in all the way how dark does it get, aka what is the actual max zoom?

If im PNW shooting out to 500 yards in usually dark and raining situations, do you guys think something liek this would cut it?
