Parallax and yardage

I’m trying to understand more about parallax right now. I’m shooting 4 to 20 viper HS scope on a 300 Winchester magnum. When siding in at 200 yards what magnification do you think would be best to use? The more I zoom in does parallax become more of an issue.?

Understanding parallax with Leupold - go watch this video on youtube.
Parallax is an overstated issue depending on the distance you are trying to operate within. This is a pretty good explanation that makes it a little simpler to understand and I was glad I found it one day.
Also, google and take a look at the leland west parallax calculator online. When you plug in your numbers it will help you see what a bullet is doing as it travels downrange and how you can set the parallax say for 200 yards, and it will effect the POI of the bullet at 4-500 minimally; especially for hunting.
Good luck

Pure personal preference but I always go to Max Zoom whenever I’m either sighting in a rifle or doing accuracy testing/group testing. It’s not like I need to spot the impact, evaluate for an animal’s reaction to being hit, or have a fast follow-up shot.

I like shooting at max magnification as well but was told the more you Zoom in the more problems with parallax you have?
