We hoped to have Tikka at launch but we are just going to drip them out slow to make sure each one is perfect. Tikka will be out very very soon though.

Totally understandable the Rem 700 is the smart one for launch its the most used action out there.
Im just very impatient. Haha. Also im retiring end of June after a 26yr career in law enforcement and wanted to culminate with a Backlight for both of my 6.5prc’s Tikka t3x Superlite and CVA Cascade XT.
Im sure this has been asked but what magazines will Tikka and CVA use. Id like to be ahead of the game.

Jim, I think the final product looks amazing. Im definitely a green riffle fan myself. If there is any way to keep green as an option im all about it. That being said, I plan to buy one no matter what the color is.
You and your team have truly accomplished something great with this chassis. You guys did your homework, identified what the shooters want, and worked around all the obstacles to make it happen. Kinda shows how tone deaf the big companies are in the industry.

I have a Bergara Premier barreled action #6 Contour Cure in 6.5 PRC waiting for the chassis. I assume I will need the Remington 700 short action instead of the long action?

Yes, you would need a rem 700 short.
Honestly, it’ll be a bit before we can add Canada. The export/import laws are complex for a chassis.
