Rail/Scope Mount advice needed

I went to my local long range shooting range today for a private lesson on long range shooting. One of the observation from the instructor was that I was blading up to the rifle instead of being square. This is because the stock (Bergara carbon fiber) is not LoP adjustable and it is too long for my body/arms. He thought I might be able to gain the 1" -1 1/2" I need if I moved from the Talley Scope Mounts to a Pic Rail and rings. I tried this in the past and I ended up with the scope being too high so that I couldn’t get any sort of cheek weld.

Can anyone recommend a system that moves the scope 1" to 1 1/2" closer to me but doesn’t raise the overall hight of the scope to more than what a Medium Scope Mount would be?

Or is this chasing my tail? I am accurate at 400 - 600 yards on a 12"x12" target… I just can’t spot my impacts because of how the recoil slides of my shoulder.

I should add that I really do not want to have to go with a chassis to resolve this.

Advice appreciated.

Take a zero MOA cantilevered mount and turn it around. It might look funny but it should work!

Or can try a Vortex Pro Extended Cantilever or Vortex Precision Extended cantilever mount. That’s what I have set up on my Weatherby.
