Resizing Required?

Newbie here… was about to start my first load development process for my .243 ( I have loaded two batches of 6.5 creedmoor and made some progess in developing those loads.)

I de-capped & cleaned quite a bit of brass I have acquired over the years from factory loads of .243.

I was about to start re-sizing a small batch to develop a load and thought I would measure everything first. All length & diameter measurements are within spec. Is it OK just to chamfer and debur before priming and just roll on or is there something I’m missing?

Just feel like I’m missing something simple & stupid here…

Good question.

The neck has to be squished down or else a new bullet would just slide in without force. Also, the shoulder has to be pushed back.

Resizing has to happen every single time you reload. Not a step you can ever skip.

Thank you very much!!
(Seemed like a “must do” but my measurements made me question it.)
