If you do an update to this or other similar ($500, $1,000, etc.), I think it makes sense to split out the SFP and FFP scopes into separate categories and feature top picks for each. They shouldn’t really be smushed together against each other because they are for different situations; each should be evaluated on its own terms.
At least for US audiences, eastern/midwestern US hunting looks pretty different than it does out west, and at least where I’m from, SFP is the defacto choice, for obvious reasons. If I’m only ever using the bottom half of my magnification range anyway, most of the FFP scopes are just not as functional. Of course, some western folks will still prefer SFP sometimes, and FFP has increased in popularity only more recently (I know it’s your preference, Jim). So, for all these reasons and more I hope you consider re-vamping these topics in future videos!
