Alright guys how many of you all are right handed and shooting right handed gun left handed? Or are right handed shooting a left handed gun is it hard to change over that way? I’ve shot all my life right handed guns on my left shoulder and I want to do a custom gun but was thinking of going left handed but don’t know how hard it would be to change over. It would make a lot me sense to me but it’s always so hard to find a left handed gun.
I’m the same way. Right handed, left eye dominant.
I made switch to left handed guns last year and it’s not that hard. I started with my PRS22 rig because I needed to be able to stay stable and run the bolt but have started replacing most of my bolt guns with lefty’s. I can honestly say that after about a month of shooting and playing with it, it feels much more natural running the bolt with your left hand. I’ve sold off all the RH rifles I didn’t love and only buy lefty moving forward.
That’s great to hear. Thank you
I am the same I got a Lh bolt can’t believe the difference when I started shooting they were very hard to find so if you wanted to shoot it was a right hand
I’m in the same boat. Bought my first lefty a few years ago. The only problem you will have is that you will not want to use any right handed bolts once you switch. That actually is a little bit of a problem because it is going to limit your selection as to what you can purchase going forward. Even if you do custom builds, it will limit which stocks you can purchase that are inletted for left handed actions. Just something to consider, but I would still recommend switching over.
