Does anyone have experience putting a backstop recoil pad on a Sako S20 how was your experience? Is it worth it? Did it fit easy?
The install takes only 60 seconds or so and it’ll fit perfect. I’ll let others chime in on if they feel it’s worth it, but I like the advantage of a tamer recoiling rifle.
Its the easiest mod you can make to a rifle. Easier than putting on a muzzle break, easier than a scope… maybe not quite as easy as adding a QD sling but not far behind.
I have 3 and I bought them all at the original price, no discounts. Theu are worth it.
I have one on my Marlin 1895 45-70. Shot it before and after and the difference is really big.
Awesome I placed an order last night thanks a lot for the reply
Thank you for replying I appreciate the info will definitely be getting one
I saw you already placed an order, but in case it helps you feel better about your decision, I have one on my 300 WSM and it’s awesome. With the muzzle brake and Backstop recoil pad, it’s easier shooting than my 308 Win.
I have one on a Sako S20 6.5 PRC. Dead simple to put on and fits perfectly. As others have said, it does make a difference but what they didn’t say is how much cooler it looks as well. Nothing wrong with wanting our gear to look as good as it functions.
I second that. Put it on my Marlin, as I said, and I took to the FFL to pick up my suppressor for it and the guys at the shop were most interested in the backstop.
I wish Sako would make a left handed S20 so I can put a Backstop Recoil Pad on it!
