Sako S20 bolt issues

Hey guys, I just bought that sako S20 in 300 win mag that i was talking about in an earlier post. I have not been out to shoot it yet but have run the action a fair amount to get the feel for it and in anticipation of getting out and going shooting. the action has been run maybe 100 times and now the bolt just pulls out when pulling it back quickly. Looking at the bolt there is no damage. Maybe a little wear on the bolt stop but not enough to cause the bolt to come out like this. nothing is touching the release and the gun is in the fire position when running it.
Any ideas of what could be causing this?
if this is not an easy fix would i get ahold of eurooptics or Sako to get it fixed?
I also cant find any email or chat for contacting Sako only a phone number and physical address.
really hoping this does not become a major issue, Thanks for the help guys!!!

Dang. Is the springy bolt release on the left not springing in properly?

Feels like it is. It will catch the bolt half the time and the release goes back into place each time. Maybe the spring is not strong enough?

Maybe squirt some oil on the bolt release to see if it’s just getting caught? I can’t really think of anything else.

When I bought my S20 (7Rem Mag), I vaguely recall having to work the bolt / bolt-release a few times (less than 10) to work it in. As @backfire said, maybe squirt a drop or two of gun oil on the bolt release, then work the bolt and release until it smooths out. Manufacturing tolerances are pretty tight on the Sako’s, so working the bolt and bolt release with a little gun oil should get it smooth as butter (like mine) after a few runs.

I have a S20 in 6.5 Creedmoor, not having had any issues in the past 3 years I just went and checked my rifle. The bolt release requires a very positive push to depress the catch and release the bolt, on my rifle there is no chance of it staying pushed down, so something is definitely wrong on yours. As suggested it either requires lubricant, or the spring is defective/possibly broken inside.

There is no direct Sako email, however you need to contact the main distributor in your Country (or State) for support.
