I have been doing some research on the Sako 20 after watching Jim’s video. My question is the thumb hole stock ambidextrous. I shoot left handed and shoot right handed guns. I have tried to find one in stock where I’m from and nobody has stock of them for me to be able to get my hands on it. Thanks

My S20 is absolutely stellar! One of the most comfortable and accurate rifles I own!
To date, I’ve only shot it out to 300yds (longest range I’ve had available), but it shoots <.5MOA out to 300…

Awesome thanks. It seems like an interesting rifle, but I just dont know if that gun is too heavy for hunting or if I won’t really notice the difference. There are a few websites online that you can get the Hunter model for $1100-$1200 so that’s an attractive price point. It seems like Jim has been raving about this gun lately.

I’m 5’ 11" and 215lbs.
I haven’t taken mine hunting yet, as I missed the dadgum window for the tag draw two years in a row (was stuck in a SCIF), but wouldn’t hesitate to take it hunting!
The barrel length at 24" is a tad long, however, I think that lends itself to the stability and accuracy of the rifle.
